A casting can bring an enormous amount of comfort to grieving families, which is why we offer End of Life and Memorial castings alongside our other keepsakes.

When a loved one nears the end of their life, a casting will most probably be furthest from your thoughts, yet a lasting keepsake can bring much comfort in the weeks, months and years that follow.

Just like the memories of loved ones you hold dear, a casting will become something you will want to treasure forever. A tangible keepsake that can be touched, held and will help your loved one be remembered always.

Each and every cast we take is done so with the upmost care, respect and dignity, and that is no different when it comes to our End of Life and Memorial Castings.

We use the same, gentle moulding materials we do in all of our other castings except we employ a different set of casting methods, skills and techniques for this specialised service.

For babies born asleep and younger children who have passed away, we can attend a hospital setting or alternatively castings may also be taken in the Chapel of Rest or funeral home.

Adult memorial castings usually take place at the funeral home and we can help arrange this with your funeral provider. Whatever the reason for your loved ones passing, including a sudden and unexpected loss, we can perform a hand casting in most circumstances.

Without exception, our approach is always gentle, respectful and carried out sensitively.

We feel deeply privileged when we are asked to create such sentimental keepsakes and hope that our castings helps grieving families through the most challenging of times.

As standard, all memorial / bereavement castings are airbrushed & hand waxed to finish.
